Lucknow:  Dr. Kafeel Khan has been released from Muthra jail on September 1 after 8 months. After his release, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi talked to him on the phone and went well. At the same time, on Thursday, Dr. Kafeel Khan will hold a press conference in Jaipur at two in the afternoon. It is noteworthy that after the order of Allahabad High Court, the release of Dr. Kafeel Khan has been possible, whose credit is in the circle of taking Congress.

The Congress also campaigned for the release of Dr. Kafeel Khan. Congress leaders reached Mathura jail gate to lead Dr. Kafeel. After this, the Congress leader left for Rajasthan with Kafeel Khan with him. Here, after the release, Dr. Kafeel Khan discussed with a private channel on Wednesday. Dr. Kafeel Khan told the media that he was tortured physically and mentally in jail. They were not given food for the first 4 to 5 days. He said that when I got out of jail after the BRD oxygen case, I felt some relief, but this time I am shocked.

Let us tell you that Dr. Kafeel Khan was arrested by Uttar Pradesh Police for allegedly making inflammatory speeches during protest against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Citizenship Register (NRC) and NPR. However, the Allahabad High Court has ordered Dr. Kafeel to be released immediately. The court while giving the order said that under Rasuka it is illegal to take Dr Kafeel in custody and extend the period of custody. The court had said that Dr. Kafeel's speech is not to be provocative but to respect the unity and integrity of the country.
