Fashion shows have always held a high status in the world of glamour. They provide designers with an opportunity to showcase their works and allow creative artists to unleash their creativity. However, fashion models also play an increasingly important role in making each of the designer’s clothes stand out. The way they showcase the latest clothing designs and accessories to the audiences, photographers and prospective buyers are crucial. It takes years of expertise for a model to enhance their skills and become one of a kind. One among the all who has beautifully carved a niche for himself is the supermodel and medical professional, Dr. Manu Bora.

Well, when it comes to the modelling world, Dr. Manu Bora has no doubt created a stride and has set incredible standards. Being the first-ever Indian model to walk for Hermes during Paris Fashion Week, he caught a lot of positive attention from the influential people of the realm, among which the Be1Scouting modelling agency was one. The agency further assisted him in getting selected by esteemed agencies that gave him the opportunity to walk prominent ramps in various countries all across the globe.

From there, Manu Bora’s modelling career reached new heights. He became the first Indian male model for campaigning for Louis Vuitton thereby making the Indian Fashion Industry proud. Meanwhile, he also walked the ramps for prominent designers at almost every big fashion week in India like Wills India Fashion Week, and Lakme Fashion Week among others. Further, Dr. Manu’s remarkable recognition and achievements in the fashion circuit got him featured in Vogue Paris, GQ Japan, The Week, etcetera.

Apart from being an ace supermodel, Dr. Manu Bora achieved great milestones as an arthroscopic surgeon in very less time. Today, he is one of the youngest and most renowned arthroscopic surgeons in India. From giving many hours to studies to learning and using the latest techniques in surgeries, Dr. Bora put all the effort needed to become one of the most skilled surgeons and managed his modelling career simultaneously.

However, it didn’t come easy to him as Dr. Manu had to face a few roadblocks too. Before his advent into modelling, he had gained a lot of weight while completing his PG due to extensive study hours but with strong determination and hard work, he shed those extra pounds within a few months. As soon as he got into shape, he did a portfolio shoot and then the road ahead was an amazing one for him, starting with a debut cameo with Hero Honda.

In an endeavour to support and guide Indian models, Dr. Manu Bora partners with his first agency Be 1 Scouting, for a lot of interesting projects. Owing to that, in the present time he has collaborated with them for the largest international modelling competition in India, the Be 1 Scouting Tour- India 2023. In the Be 1 Scouting Tour, the team will be visiting 24 Indian cities and towns over the course of 10 months in search of future models. Dr. Manu Bora has joined hands with the Be 1 Scouting Tour to help both fresh and experienced Indian models make it to the global level of modelling. The models who make it to the latter rounds will also get the chance to train with the supermodel. Dr. Manu Bora is all set to give his all to the tour and is excited to make Indian faces reach global heights.
