New Delhi: A video of fugitive Zakir Naik, who escaped Indian law and took shelter abroad, is going viral on social media these days. In the video, according to Islam, Zakir Naik is counting the benefits of drinking camel urine. The funny thing is that Islamic fundamentalists often make fun of Hindus about cow urine, but in their religion, the drinking of camel urine is said to be healthy.

In fact, Naik's video was posted on HUDA TV on January 7, 2021, but it is now going back viral. In this video, Zakir is answering the questions of his audience, who, according to the Quran, asked the benefits of camel urine and milk. In the video, after 4 minutes and 56 seconds, it can be seen that Naik says, "There are a lot of researches that confirm that there are many benefits of drinking camel urine for a human being. To justify his claims, he refers to the claims of Persian physician Ibn Sina. He says, "The most beneficial of all the urine is the urine of camels. After doing a lab test today, we find that potassium and albuminous proteins are found in camel urine. We know that it also contains fractions of uric acid, sodium and creatine. '

The controversial Islamic scholar says that according to the research done by Dr. Abdul Fateh Mahmood Idris, camel urine can be used in some skin diseases. Scientific research has proven that urine makes the hair shiny and dense. It is also used in the prevention of Dandruff. Zakir then cites 'research' by another Muslim microbiologist named Dr Ahlaam Al Avadi. Zakir Naik explains that Dr. Avadi's research showed that camel urine can cure skin diseases and hepatitis in addition to dandruff.

Quoting Dr Khurshid, the fugitive Naik claimed that camel urine has anti-cancer properties. It can be used in the treatment of cancer. After this, while making his point, Zakir Naik requested his Muslim followers to blindly believe everything in the Quran and agree on what hadiths say. Zakir Naik insists, "You can always do research later. But science is not the yardstick to determine whether you should believe in hadith or not. If the hadith is authentic, we believe in it, regardless of whether science believes it or not. '

To his followers, Zakir Naik told him not to make fun of cow urine, because both camel urine and cow urine are pure. However, in the future, Naik refused to accept that there is any benefit to cow urine. According to him, there is no scientific research on this. Naik cited Persian physician Ibn Sina to say muslims can consume the urine or feces of any animal or bird. It's for them (halal).
