The Narcotics Control Bureau's investigation into the cruise ship drug case is taking on new twists for each passing day. The custody of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, his co-accused Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha is ending today. According to recent reports, Arbaaz Merchant has filed two petitions with the Mumbai Magistrate Court.

According to reports, Arbaaz has requested to check CTV video from the International Cruise Terminal when he and Aryan were arrested by NCB officials. The plea says, according to a report, that "At the request of the applicant (Merchant), no contraband was found, and they were arrested on a fake case. The Applicant insists that no contraband was found in his possession or on his shoes, as the prosecution claims."

Moreover, according to reports, the plea adds that while documents and witnesses may lie, the CCTV footage would definitely disclose the truth. "Documents and witnesses may lie, but CCTV footage recorded under the supervision of a body like the CISF will unquestionably provide a clear and authentic image of the prosecution's case," the appeal continues. According to reports, Merchant has demanded that CCTV video from 11:30 a.m. to 20:30 p.m. on October 2 be produced in court and preserved for the case.

Merchant has also filed a bail request with the magistrate court. He claims in the plea that the NCB's claim that their intention to board the ship was absolutely false.

"In this case, 16 people have been arrested, and an investigation is continuing. There are some links (connected to bitcoin) that I am unable to share at this time. The inquiry would be affected as a result "The Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Sameer Wankhede, informed the reporters.
