Delhi University is going to start the B.Sc Honors in Environment Science course from 2021 next semester. Each college is offering around 24 to 32 seats. Accordingly, about 144 seats will be increased for undergraduate courses. At present, the Environment Science Department offers only Master and PhD courses. The UGC had already approved the course, after which now this course can be expected to start from the next session of the course.

According to the information received, the qualification is usually determined on the basis of the number of top-4 subjects of 12th in the undergraduate courses. A cutoff list is issued for this. Till now the eligibility for Environment Science course has not been determined. However, it will be difficult to apply for the already existing rules for Environment Science course. Because CBSC schools do not offer this subject in class 12th. In the year 2019, 2.70 lakh students applied for undergraduate courses. Two lakh of it.

The students were only from CBSC schools: According to information from sources, there will be 26 exams for 140 credits in the three-year course of Environment Science. According to the UGC guidelines, students will have to pass two Skill Inhabitants, eight Elective and four Ability Enhancement Exams in six semesters.
