India batsman Karun Nair has completely recovered from Covid. Now he can go to UAE next week with Kings XI Punjab. Before that, according to the protocol of the team, he will have to undergo three more Covid tests. He will join the team only when the report is negative.

Recently, RR had reported that its fielding coach Dishant Yagnik was infected with Covid. The Rajasthan team has been demanding people to come in contact with Dishant in the last 10 days to get their Covid test done. According to Karun's Negative Covid Reports on 8 August, he was in isolation for two weeks. According to the team management of Kings XI Punjab, only those players will go to UAE with the team on 20 August, who will pass the Covid test.

According to the information, Nair will first go to Delhi via a charter flight from Bangalore and from there to the UAE along with the rest of the players of the Punjab team. He has played 14 matches for Punjab. Nair has scored 306 runs in 14 matches for Kings XI Punjab. He has also scored two half-centuries. His strike rate has been 134.80.

IPL had to shift to UAE this year due to Covid-19. There too, players and support staff may have to go through a rigorous testing process. After completing the week-long quarantine period in UAE, teams will be able to start training. According to the corona rules of the UAE government, any outsider who comes to the country must have a negative covid report 96 hours in advance.

There will be a corona test every 5th day during the tournament: In the UAE, the players will have a Covid Test every 5th day even in the midst of IPL. Cricketers will also be forbidden to meet each other in the hotel. Only after 3 negative reports, they will be able to enter and train in a bio-secure environment.
