Easter midnight prayers held without congregation at church in Panaji amid Lockdown

Today is considered to be very special for Christianity. Easter is being celebrated on 12 April this year. On this day, there is celebration and celebration on the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. In such a situation, the entire country is imprisoned in their homes, due to which a group prayer was organized in the midnight of Panaji, Goa's capital, in the midnight.

For your information, let us tell you that the midnight prayer of Easter was held in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church in Panaji. Considering the restrictions on lockdown of 21 days in the country, no group was included in it.

Speaking to the media amid the lockdown, Father Walter de Sa, Parish Priest said that although Easter was a joyous occasion, celebrating it without the congregation was a painful experience. He said that the outbreak and lockdown of COVID-19 has forced us to celebrate it within the church, but we hope that with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we hope that everything will go well.
