Helicopter scam: Charge sheet filed against Kamal Nath's nephew Ratul Puri

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a supplementary charge sheet in the Delhi court today against Ratul Puri, nephew of Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath. Ratul has been accused in the money laundering case related to the VVIP chopper scam. He is accused of playing the role of middleman in the deal and taking the bribe.

Earlier, 8 thousand crore rupees. Ratul was arrested in another money laundering case of JD, currently, he is in jail. The ED had filed the first charge sheet in September, revealing that Ratul was living a luxurious life on the credit card of Dubai hawala operator Rakesh Saxena. He used to travel in a private jet and used to go to the nightclub every day. He had blown 7.8 crore rupees ($ 11,43,980) in a club in America.

The ED had told banks in the case of fraud that the names of Ratul, his associates and Moser Bear India Private Limited were included in the accused. Ratul is the executive director of the company and his father Deepak Puri is the owner of Moser Beer. According to the ED, Ratul is accused of taking a loan of 8 thousand crore rupees from banks and transferring it to another group.
