According to the information received, Balasamud Police stopped a Tamil Nadu truck on receiving secret information on National State Route No. 3. After searching the truck, the garlic appeared filled with it. At the same time, when the police searched intensively, the boxes of illegal English liquor being carried concealed among the sacks of garlic were recovered.

A search of the truck revealed that the liquor was being illegally carried away within the sacks of garlic.
