2000BC 'Egyptian Mummy' will be restored in India !

Indian Museum in Kolkata is the India's oldest and largest museum. This would be the first museum to restore Egyptian mummy of 2000BC. In this 4000 years, old mummy was brought in Kolkata during 1882 by an Englishman, which is now preserved in an insulated cabin.

Experts are preparing prototype to design the Egyptian section of the museum and to create the easy interface with the 'antiques' kept in the museum.

Recent reports says that, new 3000 years old mummy was discovered in Egypt which will be studied and kept in the museum.
