Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde paid tributes to Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray on the occasion of Guru Purnima. During this, Eknath Shinde said that today he has become the Chief Minister only with the blessings of Balasaheb Thackeray. Eknath Shinde had reached Balasaheb Memorial on Guru Purnima.  

Due to this, Eknath Shinde said about the monsoon rains that I have ordered the officers of all the districts to be on emergency service alert. So that help can be provided immediately in case of any untoward incident. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, who had earlier lost the CM's chair, attacked Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. He said he will spoil the intentions of Eknath Shinde and those who support him. Eknath Shinde, on the other hand, claimed on Tuesday that several Shiv Sena leaders and workers were in touch with him and ready to extend support.

In fact, Uddhav Thackeray had issued a letter to Shiv Sena MLA Rajan Salvi. In this letter, he expressed his gratitude to Salvi to remain loyal to the Shiv Sena. He praised Salvi for being loyal in difficult times. Uddhav said that you have borne the brunt because of Eknath Shinde. He did not beg the illegitimate government he had formed nor did he fear disqualification. With the support of loyal Shiv Sainiks like you, the intention of Eknath Shinde and his supporters will be foiled.
