Kolkata: Politics has increased in West Bengal before the proposed assembly elections next year. The allegation of counter-allegations continues in the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Today, BJP leaders have met the Election Commission in Delhi citing political violence in the state.
Bengal BJP leader Swapan Das Gupta, Sabyasachi Datta reached the Central Election Commission on Tuesday. During this time, cases of increasing political violence in Bengal were put forward and action was demanded. Deputy Election Commissioner Sudeep Jain will travel to Bengal on December 17. A two-page memorandum has been submitted by the BJP, stating that the Bengal Police is not impartial. Police are acting like TMC worker, paramilitary forces should be appointed in the state. It has been said that in Bengal government employees are talking about the support of TMC, in such a way how they will conduct a fair election.
According to BJP leader Swapan Das Gupta, soon a team of Election Commission will visit Bengal. We have demanded that the EC update the voter list. Some people are living under the new name on the borders of Bengal.
