New Delhi: Recent indications indicate that the BJP is likely to lose the majority, and the Congress stated on Tuesday that it is now certain that Narendra Modi would suffer a stunning electoral and morally crushing defeat. The Lok Sabha election results are being counted, and the BJP is the only party with the most votes, but it does not have a majority.
According to exit polls conducted on Saturday, Prime Minister Modi will serve a third consecutive term in office, and the BJP-led NDA is anticipated to secure a sizable majority in the Lok Sabha.
As per a tweet by Congress national secretary Jairam Ramesh on X, the exit polls have been fully revealed as "a total sham."
"All 543 seats now have available trends. It is now evident that Mr. Narendra Modi would suffer a stunning political and moral setback, Ramesh stated.
The BJP-led NDA in the Lok Sabha elections appears to be losing badly in its strongholds of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan, despite expectations that it will form the government with roughly 290 seats. These are the early patterns from Tuesday's vote counting.
Even though the BJP made considerable gains in Odisha, it seemed that it was losing ground overall, leading in 240 seats.
Uttar Pradesh voting trends shows major upset for the BJP; Samajwadi Party leads in 34 seats.
