East Ladakh is the region where the deadlock between China and India is going on. The soldiers of both countries are face to face regarding the border dispute. In view of the gathering of Chinese troops, the Indian Army is attentive. Deployment has been extended to the entire border adjoining China. China has recently claimed the entire Galwan Valley as its territory. India has rejected Beijing's claim at the same time. An in-depth study of satellite imagery shows how China has moved forward by changing the ecosystem of the river, claiming Galwan.

In the month of May this year, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) barricaded the area on the pretext of military exercises and deployed troops along the riverbanks as well as everywhere along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). On the other hand, amidst this tension, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh called a meeting on Sunday. The meeting was attended by the Chiefs of Defense Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat in addition to the three army chiefs.
