Indore: There has been an encounter between police and Naxalites in Balaghat district, adjacent to the border of Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. In this encounter, the police have killed 3 hardcore prize naxalites. The search operation is still going on in the forest. Based on the information of the informer, the operation was started under the leadership of IG Sanjay Singh and SP Saurabh Kumar. The force was informed about the gathering of more than 50 Naxalites. This encounter took place in Balaghat's Bahela police station area.

According to the information received, an encounter took place between the police and the Naxalites in the forest of Kandla, a dependent village of village Panchayat Khandapadi, located about 15 km from the Naxal-affected Lanji area of ​​Balaghat district. On the information of the informer, the jawans went out on the search. The soldiers had reached Kandla while patrolling, when the Naxalites started firing indiscriminately. The soldiers also gave a befitting reply to the Naxalites.

In the encounter, the police have killed 3 hardcore Naxalites of Vistara Dalam Platoon 56 and Dadeksa Dalam. Seeing the soldiers getting heavy, other Naxalites fled taking advantage of the forest. On searching, the bodies of 3 Naxalites were found. The jawans are still present in the forest. The forests of Dongargarh and Gandai-Salhewara in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh are adjacent to it.
