Indore: There has been an encounter between police and Naxalites in Balaghat district, adjacent to the border of Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. In the encounter, the police have killed 3 hardcore Naxalites of Vistara Dalam Platoon 56 and Dadeksa Dalam. Seeing the soldiers getting heavy, other Naxalites fled taking advantage of the forest. On searching, the bodies of 3 Naxalites were found. The jawans are still present in the forest. The forests of Dongargarh and Gandai-Salhewara in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh are adjacent to it.
