Ensure Double Engine Govt for continued growth: PM K'taka

BIDAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Poll-bound Karnataka said today that for the continuity of the developmental projects and unhindered economic growth of the state, the people should again vote for Bharatiya Janata Party and ensure a double-engine government. The elections are not about formulating a government in the state but about making Karnataka the number one state in the country, PM said.

In his speech to a massive crowd in Humnabad in Bidar, Prime Minister Modi argued that if India is to become a prosperous nation, Karnataka must also progress. Coalition governments have already caused enough suffering for the state's residents. The coalition government will not be centered on the populace. JD(S)'s loyalty during the time of the JD(S)-Congress partnership was to the Congress rather than the people.

Every region of the state must be affected by the development. "The people of Karnataka don't want to abandon their aspirations. They want to be associated with the BJP because they want to see highways, metro lines, more Vande Bharat trains operating in the state, and facilities spread out to every part of the country built. They want to join in because they have observed how quickly things have changed under BJP leadership, he said.

A Double engine government is crucial for becoming a top state. It is crucial that the BJP's state and federal governments have dual authority. He said that BJP received FDI of Rs 90,000 crore annually, which is three times more than Congress's FDI of Rs 30,000 crore.

Women have become aware of the challenges presented by water shortages in the absence of a dual-engine government. The water projects that had been on hold for decades have been finished. The list of farmers for the transfer of allowances was not sent by the Congress-JD(S) government in this country. He claimed that this was because they had no opportunity to use the funds because they were deposited directly to the accounts of farmers.

Because Congress has broken all of its promises in Rajasthan and Chattisgarh, Prime Minister Modi urged the populace not to have faith in them. If money has been transferred at all, he asserted, it has solely gone to Congress party employees.

Caste, religion, and creed are the divisions created by Congress. There is appeasement there. The BJP has awarded the Padma honour to Shah Rashi Ahmad Khadri of Bidar. Congress simply offered him sorrow and a blind eye. "The Congress party made Gorata, where farmers rebelled and battled for India, a victim of appeasement. For fear of losing votes, the party decided not to acknowledge it.
