Lucknow: The long-standing fight between Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav and his uncle Shivpal Yadav seems to be coming to an end. After the victory of SP candidate Dimple Yadav in the Mainpuri by-election, the uncle-nephew relationship now looks very strong. In fact, Shivpal Yadav has accepted that Akhilesh is now everything after 'Chhote Netaji' i.e. Mulayam Singh Yadav.

After returning home to the SP, Shivpal Yadav does not want any post in the party. He says that if the party gives him any responsibility, he will fulfill it with full devotion. At the same time, even if he does not get any responsibility, he will remain in SP for the rest of his life and work to strengthen the organization, and this is his final decision.

Speaking to the press in Prayagraj, SP veteran and MLA Shivpal Yadav said, "For me, the post does not matter. I have held the biggest positions. Whether there is a post or not. Now he will remain in SP for life and will continue to fulfill his responsibility." He said that I am from the socialist tradition, where the position does not matter to me. Ram Manohar Lohia and Jai Prakash Narayan did not have any positions, but when both came out, they create a stir in politics.
