The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council's (KAAC) land revenue department carried out the third wave of eviction at Dudu Colony in Lahorijan on Sunday. The eviction took place in Block No 3 of Balijan, Lahorijan, near the Assam-Nagaland border.According to reports, a tense situation prevailed in the region following the eviction, with locals protesting.

KAAC carried out another round of evictions in the Dudu colony area of Lahorijan Block 3 under Borjan Mouza in Bokajan subdivision in December last year. During the drive, the district administration and police force aided the department.

The department had carried out an eviction in the region, dismantling around 115 housing units, including concrete buildings and makeshift shelters, across an area of approximately 100 bighas of KAAC revenue land. According to the KAAC Land and Revenue Department's official records, a total of 210 bighas of government land in the region have been occupied by dubious persons.

However, due to a stay injunction issued by the Gauhati High Court, the drive on December 20 was only able to clear 100 bighas of this land. Following the drive, authorities brought down many buildings, creating an atmosphere of terror and worry in the region. The situation remained difficult on the ground, and the government was forced to use moderate force to disperse the crowd.

After a long time, the duo of Sanjay and Sunil will be seen on screen once again.
