Guwahati: It has been confirmed by the forensic report that the reason behind the death of former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Kalikho Pul was a case of suicide.
State inspector general of police N Payeng, said that, “the report the state police received last week said there was no suspicion of foul play into the ex-CM’S death”.
On August 9, the body of the 47-year-old leader was found hanging in his official residence in Itanagar. As well as the 60-page document, tilted ‘My Thoughts’ was recovered by police placed near the body of the leader.
IG Payeng added, “Now that we have the forensic report, we will investigate the case further. We should be able file a closure report within a month”.
