3 years of Demonetization, 2000 notes will be banned soon!
style="text-align: justify;">A few months after the demonetisation, a new 2000 note was issued, but now the government has received a suggestion to stop the circulation of the 2000 rupee note completely. Yes, recently, former Finance Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg has given some suggestions and if the government completes their suggestions, then the 2000 notes will also be discontinued soon.
In fact, on Thursday, Garg has made several suggestions besides banning the 2000 note in 72 pages. Let me tell you that Garg was first Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, after which he was transferred to the Ministry of Energy.
After his transfer, he has taken retirement through VRS on 31 October and according to the report of Indian Express, Garg told the government to end the nationalization of all public sector banks, as well as to promote privatization and spend their expenses instead of RBI. It is also suggested to manage on its own. With this, he has also asked to stop borrowing after the budget.
At the same time, he said, 'People are busy hoarding 2000 notes. A large number of this note is not in circulation. Due to this, people have used it very less in transactions. If this note gets ban then no harm will be done to anyone.
