Karnataka: Former Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy said on Wednesday that the Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) test scandal, which has enraged the entire country, has been exposed by the police department itself.

In a press conference in Channapatna, he remarked, "The police department's own information has been leaked. The probe is linked to the events that occurred after the murder in Chamarajapet, Bangalore." The illegality of the test has been disclosed as a result of the developments in the murder case of a young man named Chandru (PSI test scam).

A BJP spokesperson had blamed police commissioner Kamal Pant for lying about the murder. The police stated that a young guy was killed after a two-wheeler collision made a commotion, but BJP leaders claimed that the young man was murdered because he could not communicate in Urdu.

"The BJP leader had attacked Kamal Pant, a law enforcement officer who had done nothing wrong. That's why some of his colleagues in the department decided to use the scheme to teach the government a lesson. It was found by the department itself, not by the government "Kumaraswamy stated.

"The BJP leader who falsely charged a law enforcement officer has ties to Kingpin, who is currently detained. The cops have kept track of it and have made it public he added.
