West Indies: On Friday, Team India arrived in the West Indies for their multi-format tour that begins on July 12. It's interesting to note that the Indian squad took multiple flights on Thursday night to reach the Caribbean Island because the BCCI was unable to book seats on a single trip. As a result, the players who travelled in the initial group will go through America, London, and the Netherlands to get to the Caribbean.
Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, and Virat Kohli will fly from Paris and London, respectively. The date for the two seasoned players to arrive in the West Indies is still unknown. Currently on vacation with their families are Rohit and Kohli. The pair is expected to land on the Caribbean Island the following week.
India will also play one two-day warm-up game at Kensington Oval beginning on July 5 and 6 before the two-match Test series. Additionally, the Indian Cricket Squad will hold a one-week camp in Barbados from July 1–7.

The World Test Championship (WTC) cycle 2023–25 will begin with a matchup between Rohit Sharma and company and the Windies. India last appeared in the WTC championship matchup with Australia. While South Africa was the most recent opponent for the West Indies in a Test series. India and the West Indies have squared off 98 times, with India winning 22 and the Windies taking 30.
In their most recent Test series, which took place in 2019, India easily defeated the Windies by a margin of 2-0. Rohit Sharma & Co. are in charge this time as well. India's pace attack, though, is a little less skilled due to the absence of Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah. Siraj will be responsible for directing the pace attack, with backing from Shardul Thakur, Unadkat, Navdeep Saini, and Mukesh Kumar.
