This marks the first time in India's electoral history that the Election Commission will host a press conference ahead of the general election results. The press conference is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and will set the stage for the announcement of results the following day.

Mizoram
In Mizoram, over 2,000 personnel have been deployed for the vote-counting process for the state's lone Lok Sabha seat. Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Madhup Vyas informed PTI that a three-tier security arrangement has been put in place across all 13 counting centers in the state. Aizawl, the state capital, will have three counting centers, with one in each district headquarters. There will be a total of 40 counting halls equipped with 379 tables, each overseen by a counting supervisor, a counting agent, and a micro observer. The counting will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, starting with postal ballots, followed by votes recorded in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). Media centers have also been set up at all counting venues to ensure seamless distribution of election results.
Telangana
In Telangana's Warangal constituency, preparations are in full swing. District Collector P Pravinya, who is also the Returning Officer, stated that there are a total of 8 counting halls, including those for postal ballots, for the 7 Assembly segments. A staff of 1200 has been deployed, including counting supervisors, assistants, and micro observers. A dress rehearsal training was conducted for all staff members, ensuring that they are well-prepared for the vote counting process which will commence at 8:00 a.m. on June 4th. To maintain law and order, a three-tier barricading system has been set up, with police personnel ensuring security.
West Bengal
The Election Commission has ordered repolling at a single polling station each in Barasat and Mathurapur Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal. This decision follows clashes that broke out on June 1st during the seventh and final phase of polls. Repolling began at 7:00 a.m. on June 3rd and will conclude by 6:00 p.m.
Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa informed ANI that vote counting will begin at 8:00 a.m. on June 4th across 81 counting centers in 75 districts. Out of the state's 80 Lok Sabha seats, 35 will be counted at one center, 37 at two centers each, and 8 at three centers each. Postal ballots will be counted at the headquarters of the returning officer of the parliamentary constituency. The Election Commission has appointed 179 additional observers to ensure a vigilant oversight of the election count.
Jammu and Kashmir
In Jammu and Kashmir, the police have implemented a three-tier security arrangement at a counting center in Kathua district ahead of the counting day for the Udhampur Lok Sabha seat. The state sends five seats to the lower house of Parliament. Strict security checks will be conducted, and vehicles will be inspected for any security threats. The police have urged the public to cooperate and approach in-charge police officers in case of disputes or confrontations.
Andhra Pradesh
TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu, anticipating an NDA victory, has directed counting agents and chief election agents to arrive on time at the counting centers. He emphasized the need for officials to adhere to laid-down norms and to remain vigilant during the transportation of EVMs from strong rooms to the counting centers.
