Ex-Telangana CM KCR hospitalised, PM Modi Wishes for Speed Recovery

HYDERABAD: Former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) was hospitalized at Yashoda Hospital in Telangana on Friday. The leader of the BRS party reportedly sustained a suspected hip fracture at his Erravelli farmhouse.

Medical professionals are currently assessing the condition of the 69-year-old BRS president. Sources suggest that surgery might be necessary, although this information is yet to be confirmed. An official medical bulletin regarding his health status is anticipated to be released soon.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his prayers for the fast recovery to K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), the leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS), who was hospitalized in Hyderabad following an injury. KCR's daughter, K Kavitha, mentioned that the former Telangana Chief Minister had incurred a minor injury and assured that he was receiving expert care in the hospital.

Expressing concern, PM Modi conveyed, "Distressed to know that former Telangana CM KCR Garu has suffered an injury. I pray for his speedy recovery and good health," in a social media post.

Kavitha further reassured well-wishers, stating, "BRS supremo KCR Garu sustained a minor injury and is currently under expert care in the hospital. With the support and well wishes pouring in, Dad will be absolutely fine soon. Grateful for all the love," on a social media platform.

KCR was admitted to Yasodha Hospital in Hyderabad after the incident occurred at his farmhouse in Erravalli on Thursday night, as per sources. The BRS chief reportedly fell down at his farmhouse, leading to his hospitalization.
