Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has decided to rename Faizabad railway junction as Ayodhya Cantt. According to the information, it has been approved by the Government of India. A tweet by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said that UP CM Yogi Adityanath has decided to rename Faizabad railway junction as Ayodhya Cantt.

BJP MP Lallu Singh had proposed to CM Yogi to rename Faizabad Junction as Ayodhya Cantt. He has now expressed happiness over the decision to rename Faizabad railway station as Ayodhya Cantt and thanked the CM. The Yogi government in the state has earlier renamed Allahabad as Prayagraj and Faizabad as Ayodhya. While Mughalsarai has been renamed as Deen Dayal Upadhyaynagar. The Yogi government had also recently talked about naming Jhansi railway station after Rani Laxmi Bai.

In addition, the Yogi government had recently announced the name of UP Sadan in Delhi as Uttar Pradesh Sadan Triveni, while up Bhawan as Uttar Pradesh Bhawan Sangam.
