LUCKNOW: A tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday when a collision between a bus and a car on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway in Ghaziabad claimed the lives of at least five individuals. Among the victims, an eight-year-old child fought for survival and was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. The accident, which occurred approximately 15 kilometers away from the district headquarters on the Lucknow-Varanasi highway, was captured in a video recorded by a CCTV camera.

In response to this heartbreaking event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed profound condolences for the lives lost and extended financial support. He announced a sum of Rs 2 lakh to be given to each grieving family and Rs 50,000 for those who were seriously injured. The Chief Minister, filled with sorrow, shared his sympathies with the bereaved family members through the CMO's office.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the Chief Minister has instructed district administration officials to ensure the injured receive prompt and proper medical care. His heartfelt wishes for the speedy recovery of the victims further emphasize his concern and support during this trying time.
