According to reports, 11,268 ducks have been killed and burnt in Aymanam, Kallara and Vechur panchayat areas. At the same time, a total of 18,000 lights have been burnt at Nedumudi and Karuvatta in Alappuzha. Last Wednesday, 2022 ducks were killed in Nedumudi. At the same time, the sale of duck meat or their eggs has been banned in the coming days as bird flu is likely to spread. This can lead to fatality.
