New Delhi: There seems to be a split in the opposition's unity regarding the Adani Group. Congress leader Alka Lamba has launched a scathing attack on Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar after he expressed his disagreement with the JPC's demand against the Adani group based on the Hindenburg Research report. Without naming Sharad Pawar, Lamba has used words like greedy and watchman who saves thieves.

In fact, on Saturday evening, Alka Lamba uploaded a picture of Sharad Pawar and Gautam Adani on Twitter. She wrote in her tweet that today only scared, greedy people are singing the praises of dictatorial power due to their personal interests. Rahul Gandhi alone is fighting the battle of the people of the country. Capitalists profit from thieves and also from the watchman who protects thieves.' It is noteworthy that the opposition parties, under the leadership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, have been continuously demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) inquiry against the Adani Group. There was a lot of uproar in Parliament from the opposition regarding this matter.

On this, NCP chief Sharad Pawar said in an interview on April 7, 2023, that he does not agree with the Congress-led opposition stalling Parliament on this matter. Pawar said that the issue was given more importance than was required. We've never heard of the Hindenburg. What is his background? When they raise issues that create a ruckus across the country, the country's economy has to pay the price for it. Sharad Pawar had said that Adani's case is in the Supreme Court; the expert committee is probing it, so if anything is wrong, it will come to the fore.
