Jashpur: There was chaos in Jashpur city of Chhattisgarh when suddenly a massive fire broke out in a two-storey building. Crores of rupees were lost in this incident of arson. The incident is of Kunkuri area. The special thing is that on the initiative of the local MLA Rampukar Singh, the new fire brigade vehicle which was given to the panchayat also failed to douse the fire.

Thereafter, two fire tenders of Jashpur district headquarters reached the spot and the work of extinguishing the fire was started. Apart from this, vehicles of the fire department have also been called from the state of Odisha bordering with the surrounding districts. The work of extinguishing the fire is still going on. According to the news received from the Kunkuri police, the incident took place late at night. Here on NH 43, businessman Murari Lal Agarwal has an electronics and furniture shop. People also live in its upper floor. Around 9:30 pm, people saw smoke rising from here. After which the fire spread all around in just 15-20 minutes. Due to this the lights of the city also went off. Fortunately, all the people present inside the building were evacuated safely.

It is being said that in this incident all the goods of the shop were burnt to ashes. Next to it is Raghunath Cloth Store and Rajeev Garg's house and shop. The fire spread till there. Both the vehicles of the fire department that came from Jashpur have controlled the spreading fire to a great extent. However, Police Officer Additional SP Umesh Kashyap told that he has reached the spot with the team force. Efforts are on to douse the fire continuously. Fire engines are continuously reaching from all areas. There is more fire, so more vehicles are needed. In the same, the loss of crores is being talked about.
