Surat: A major fire broke out at Amit Silk Mill in Pandesara GIDC area of Surat city of Gujarat in the wee hours of the morning. As soon as the news of the fire broke out, 17 vehicles of the fire department rushed to the spot and rushed to douse the fire. The case dates back to four o'clock on Sunday morning. In this case of arson, this textile mill was completely burnt down. Thankfully, there was no loss of life.
Police have also reached the spot and the cause of the fire is being ascertained. The work of extinguishing the fire is still going on. Earlier also, in the month of January, six employees of the mill had died of suffocation due to leakage of gas from a tanker near Vishwa Prem Dyeing and Printing Mill in the Sachin area. More than 25 people were injured.
According to the report, the unidentified tanker driver was putting the poisonous chemical in the drain near the mill. Due to this, a poisonous gas started leaking from it. Due to this, the employees of the printing mill present nearby also came under its grip. At the same time, in the month of February, a fire was reported in one spa centre located in Noida's Sector-24 police station area. The fire was so dangerous that two persons present at the spa centre were burnt to death. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Ankush Anand and 26-year-old Radha Chauhan.
