Fire erupts in Shimla area, six houses burnt to ashes elderly woman burnt alive

In Himachal Pradesh, a massive fire broke out in Shimla district. Six houses were burnt to ashes in a fire in Fanal village of Ramnagar Panchayat under Kotkhai tehsil.  It is learned that an elderly woman lost her life in the incident when she was caught in a fire and the body of the woman is yet to be recovered. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

According to reports, Governor Bandaru Dattatreya has condoled the fire incident in Fanal village. The Governor, who is also the Chairman of the State Red Cross, has sent blankets, tarpaulins, kitchen sets, and sanitation kits, etc. He issued instructions to the district administration to provide all possible assistance to the affected families.

CM Jairam Thakur has also condoled the incident. He has also directed the district administration to provide immediate relief and rehabilitation to the affected families. The Chief Minister said that the state government will provide all possible help to the affected families. He is praying to God to give peace to the departed soul and the strength to bear this irreparable loss to the bereaved families.
