Massive fire breaks out in Surat's plastic factory, panic in the area

Surat: A massive fire broke out in the chemical store of a plastic factory on Monday in Kosamba area of Surat city in Gujarat. A sudden fire broke out at around 3 am this morning in the chemical kept in the store room located on the first floor of a plastic making factory called Sumilon Industries Limited at Kiim GIDC near Nawapara village and the fire took a horrific look.

As soon as the fire was reported, eight fire tenders and firefighters reached the spot. After nearly seven hours of hard work, the fire was controlled at ten in the morning. But it took them two more hours to extinguish the smoke. About 15 to 20 workers working in the factory under the store room came out safely from the factory as soon as they heard the sound of a chemical fire. No casualty has been reported in the accident. But all the things kept there in the fire burned down.

Let us tell you that last Sunday, a sudden fire broke out in the grain market on Rani Jhansi Road in the national capital Delhi, in which 43 people were killed and many people were injured. The injured people are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
