The Uttar Pradesh government has made a big change in the MLA fund allocation rules. The government has taken this change due to the increasing infection of Corona. Legislators can spend their entire funds of one year in providing medical facilities to prevent coronavirus. Outside their constituency, they will be able to use the fund for the rescue work, but it should be used within the boundary of the district.

On this matter, Rural Development Minister Rajendra Pratap Singh alias Moti Singh said that now the restrictions on the use of MLA funds have been relaxed to deal with the Corona crisis. After the approval of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in the mandate issued on Tuesday, the entire fund of one year can be spent to prevent the corona infection. Necessary medical equipments like ventilators, test kits, masks, thermal imaging scanners, gloves and sanitizers will be supplied in the hospitals of the district. Apart from government hospitals, government medical colleges will also help in raising necessary resources.
Yogi government gives gift to farmers, sowing problem ends
The Chief Medical Officer or Principal of the Government Medical College in the district will be nominated for the use of the equipment purchased according to the standards of the Central Government. A district level audit of the procurement process will also be conducted. Arrangements such as temperature testing and thermal imaging scanners, sanitization and fogging will be done at a safe distance from railway stations, airports and other public places.
