Lucknow: Along with financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the family of Chandauli jawan Alok Rao, who was martyred in an encounter with Naxalites in the northeastern state of Manipur, a government job will be given to one member. Chief Minister Yogi made this announcement while paying tribute to the jawan on Friday. The mortal remains of the jawan also reached Babatpur airport in Varanasi by plane on Friday morning. From there he was sent to Chandauli. 

According to the report, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the family members while paying a heartfelt tribute to the jawan posted in the Assam Rifles. He also announced to give a government job to a member of the martyr's family and to name a road in the district after Shaheed Alok Rao. Expressing condolences to the bereaved family members of martyr Alok Rao, CM Yogi said that the state government is with them in this hour of grief. The state government will provide all possible help to the family of the martyr jawan.

Let us tell you that on May 10, Manipur had an encounter with Naxalites along with Assam Rifles jawan Alok Kumar Rao (22), a resident of Rasia village under Shahabganj police station area of ​​Chandauli. Alok was injured in the encounter. He died during treatment on Wednesday.
