New Delhi: The Delhi Police has registered a case against some Punjab Police personnel in Delhi. These police personnel are allegedly accused of assaulting and misbehaving with a journalist. As per the information given by the sources, the case has been registered at Connaught Place police station.  

According to the information provided by the Delhi Police, it is alleged that a journalist was abused, pushed and assaulted by the Punjab Police during the press conference of CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann at Hotel Imperial in Delhi on April 26. The journalist had then lodged a complaint with Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana and the Delhi Police seeking action. After the complaint was lodged, it is being said that the Delhi Police may soon question those police personnel of the Punjab Police.

The victim journalist has alleged that cm Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann had also come to know about the incident but they did not say anything to the accused police personnel. "I urge the police to file an FIR against the police personnel who seized the CCTV cameras of the Imperial Hotel and assaulted them. Along with this, Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal, who have been silently supporting the accused police personnel, should also be made accused.''
