A sudden fire broke out in the AC on the second floor of the Chest Unit Center, built in the back of the hospital, while the smoke on the second floor was filled with fire. There was a lot of panic among the people due to this fire. In which the staff shifted patients from here to the first floor. At the same time, 16 patients were admitted on this floor. The hospital personnel gave information to the fire brigade and started trying to extinguish the fire with the fire equipment present here. Due to which it was controlled to a large extent.

On this incident, MY Superintendent PS Thakur said that there was a fire in the sleep study room. Where about 10 patients were absent.
