Massive fire breaks out at Kullu's cardboard factory, loss of crores

Massive fire breaks out in the industrial area of Shamshi in district Kullu. A factory fire started in the whole area. There was chaos. However, there has not been any loss of life or property in the accident.

According to information received from sources, it has been reported that four to five machines including cardboard stores in the factory have been burnt to ashes in which a loss of about two crores has been estimated. After the fire broke out in the night, the team of fire department Kullu reached the spot and controlled the fire.

According to reports, it is being said that the fire is still burning due to the Gata factory. Due to the huge fire, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the entire Shamshi area overnight. Fire Department Kullu officer Prem Singh said that the incident of arson took place on the night of last Saturday i.e. February 1, 2020 and till now the work of extinguishing the fire has been done. Superintendent of Police Kullu Gaurav Singh said that the cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained. Police is investigating the case.
