Islamabad: Pakistan PM Imran Khan's ex-wife Reham Khan has said that she was attacked by some unidentified men on Sunday night (January 2, 2022). Reham Khan herself tweeted about the attack on her. Reham has questioned the Imran government whether this is the new Pakistan. Reham wrote in a tweet, 'I was coming back from my nephew's wedding when some people opened fire on my car and two bikers tried to stop my car at gunpoint. I had to change my car. My security personnel and driver were inside the car.'

In her tweet, Reham further wrote, 'Is this Imran Khan's new Pakistan? Welcome to the land of cowards, robbers and greed.' Imran Khan's ex-wife wrote in the next tweet, 'I choose to live & die like the average Pakistani in Pakistan. Whether it was a cowardly targeted attack or just the state of lawlessness on the main highway of the twin cities…this so-called government should be held accountable for it! For my homeland, I can take a bullet!'

Reham Khan made headlines in 2019 for cursing Pakistan's Imran government and praising PM Narendra Modi. In a video, Reham had said, "Why do people want the Modi government today and why don't they want to spoil their relationship with them? Because their economy has become stronger. The Saudis have invested there, the UK is with them, the US is interested in them. Wherever Modi goes, he is respected.''
