In the investigation of the couple who returned from America, the person has been confirmed to be a patient of Coronavirus. The entire campus is sealed with Halut being admitted to the IHD. According to the information, three people, including an elderly couple living in a city on Mainavati Marg in Kanpur district, returned to India from the US on 18 March. People from the vicinity had informed CMO Dr. Ashok Shukla on Sunday afternoon. The first couple were not ready to give samples to the team that arrived after the information. The CMO explained and sent the team under the leadership of Dr. Dev Singh, in-charge of the District Surveillance Team and District Epidemiologist. Five samples were sent to KGMU for examination with their sample taken on Sunday evening.
