Srinagar: Srinagar: Five terrorists from Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir have surrendered from leaving the path of terrorism. Giving information about this on Saturday, the police told the media about the five youths who surrendered and left the terrorism.

An official of the police said in this regard, that five youths involved in various terrorist organizations and now they have left the path of violence and returned to the mainstream with the efforts of their families and the police. However, due to security reasons, the names of five youth have not been disclosed. It is noteworthy that since the year 2017, many terrorists have left the path of violence.

The police had announced that during the encounter, if a local terrorist pleads to surrender, then he will be accepted, after which there has been an increase in the incidents of surrendering of the terrorists. Let us tell you that the security forces have launched a campaign against militants in Jammu and Kashmir, due to which there is a lot of terrorists being mobilized in search operations, this is also one of the reasons, due to which terrorism in the valley has decreased.
