Madhya Pradesh: In the report of 42 samples received from the virology lab of the Medical College Hospital in Jabalpur on Wednesday afternoon, 5 new patients infected with the coronavirus have been revealed. All these patients belong to different villages of Kundam district, they returned home from the metro cities a few days ago. All were kept in quarantine in the hostels of Gyanodaya Vidyalaya Ranjhi and Harduli Kundam.

In Kundam district, the figure of corona infected patients has reached close to a dozen. The patients include 21-year-old man from Chauraikalan, 20-year-old from Pardiya, 26-year-old from village Sanghi, 19-year-old from village Jaitpur and 22-year-old migrant labour from Bhainswahi. All these Corona-infected patients returned on 14 and 15 May. Samples were sent to the quarantine centre for examination. The number of patients infected with Coronavirus has increased to 221. So far 9 have died.

The resident of Vijayanagar, admitted in the isolation ward of the Medical College Super Specialty Hospital, has been discharged after 39 days. After the report of the corona came negative, for the treatment of other diseases he has been admitted to the Intensive Medical Unit. One person was discharged from Super Specialty Hospital on Wednesday and 5 people from Covid Care Ward of Sukhsagar Medical College Hospital. Corona patients admitted in Sukhsagar have been discharged from the Covid Center under the guideline and sent to the Quarantine Center for 7 days. 166 patients of Corona have been discharged so far.
