Corona havoc in Ujjain, number of patients reached 274

Cases of corona are increasing rapidly in the Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh. Five new cases of corona infection have been reported in Ujjain district. Reports on Wednesday confirmed the infection in two people in the city and three in Badnagar. Together, the number of infected people has reached 274, while the number of patients who lost their lives from Kovid-19 is 45.

However, there is also some relief news for the district. There has been a slight improvement in the death rate of the district. Till a week ago it was at 22 per cent, now it is 16.42. It is also a comforting news that so far 142 people have recovered and returned to their homes.

To check the increased mortality rate in Ujjain, the central team validated the local arrangements on Wednesday for the fourth consecutive day. The team reached RD Gardi Hospital and inspected. Later on the subject was also discussed with the local authorities. Due to deaths, the team is taking information about treatment arrangements, health arrangements etc. in local hospitals. The team will submit its report to the state and central government.
