Hyderabad: The couple and their three children lost their lives when a wall of a house collapsed in the Jogulamba Gadwal district of Telangana. Two other children sustained minor injuries. Police said this on Sunday. The case took place in Kothapalli village on Saturday and Sunday nights. Residents informed the police about the incident in the morning. A senior police officer said a wall inside the hut collapsed while all the seven members of the family were sleeping. Five persons died on the spot.

He also said that two other children were evacuated. The children suffered minor injuries and were admitted to a government hospital. When asked if the wall fell due to rain, the officer said that it was not so, the wall was in a directly dilapidated condition.

On the other hand, a bus collided with a house in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday in which 34 persons were injured. The accident occurred when the driver lost control of the bus and the bus went and fell on a house. 34 persons travelling in the bus sustained injuries due to the accident and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The accident with the same private bus took place near Kariyan on the route from Chamba to Bharmour.
