Flipkart’s ‘Big Billion Day’ Sale is back. The company is all set with its annual sale festival, the largest sale is planned to be from 2nd to 6th October 2016. Experts and many other observant call this as a step taken by the former biggest e-commerce company to get ahead of their arch-rival Amazon India. It may turn out as a show down, maybe the biggest that you have ever seen in India.

This is the Third edition of the Big Billion Day sale, the first was launched in 2014. But, this time its not just the offering of the cheap discounts on big fashion brands, smartphones, televisions and other electronics, Flipkart has also come up with the ‘No-cost EMI(equated month installment)’ payment option for high-priced items and product exchange schemes. This step would make customers to think less and buy more.

The head of Flipkart’s category design organization, Kalyan Krishnamurthy when adding his views on this step, said “This year, our key focus is to ensure maximum value to our consumers by making quality products affordable and accessible. Great offers and exclusive partnerships will give our customers more options to choose from, and our innovative consumer finance, delivery and installation for large electronics and product exchange programs will only add to the customer delight this festive season,”
