Guwahati, Today, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh made an aerial survey of flood-affected areas of Nagaon, Morigaon and Kaziranga in Assam.
Chief Minister of Assam 'Sarbananda Sonowal' and Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office (PMO) 'Jitendra Singh' accompanied him.
At least 21 people have been killed by heavy rains and flooding in the state, while at least 14 people have died in neighbouring Bangladesh, with millions of people also displaced.
The flood situation worsened as new areas have been inundated.
