The entire area has been affected once again due to the breakdown of ash dam in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh. On Friday, the fly ash dam of a power plant located here broke down due to which about 200 acres of crop in the area was destroyed. Many villages have been affected due to this and some houses have also been drowned in debris.

Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda said this on the decision of lockdown

According to the sources, after the sudden breakdown of the dam, due to the rapid flow of water containing ash, the area of several kilometers has also been affected. However, there is no news of any casualty in this and rescue work is also going on.
