HYDERABAD: Flybig, a scheduled commuter airline that operates under the UDAN Regional Connectivity Scheme, announced on Wednesday that its Indore-Gondia-Hyderabad trip will begin on March 13.

The airline recently announced the addition of three new locations to its network: Hyderabad, Indore, and Gondia, bringing the total number of operating cities to 11.

Flybig's CMD, Capt. Sanjay Mandavia, stated that the company's main goal is to swiftly expand capacity and develop a robust pan-national regional commuter network in India's underserved air travel markets. "We're establishing new routes in the heart of India," he remarked, referring to Hyderabad, Telangana, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and Gondia, Maharashtra.

Flybig began operations in the North East in May of last year. It currently serves eight destinations across four states, including Kolkata (West Bengal), Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Lilabari, and Rupsi (all in Assam), Agartala (Tripura), Passighat, and Tezu (Arunachal Pradesh).

"Flybig's operational strategy is to give travellers the choice of migrating from 'Rail miles to Air miles,' underlining the company's goal of connecting the country's outlying places via air," Capt. Mandavia said.
