Suri is an Indian film actor and comedian who appears in Tamil films. Suri's real name is Ramalakshmanan Muthuchamy. Suri was born on August 27, 1977, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.  Suri is the lifeblood of South films.

Suri did a film called Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu (2009), in which he was challenged to eat parota. Subsequently, his fans named him Parota Suri. He started his career with 'Ninaivirukkam Varai' in 1999. Since then, he has appeared in many comedy films. Suri has appeared in many South films and gets huge love from fans.

Recently, a clip of Suri performing the signature dance step of a folk dance Oyilattam went viral. In fact, he was seen celebrating and dancing at a festive event in Rasakkur, Madurai. Holding a handkerchief in one hand and swinging it, Suri is seen performing folk dances. This video of him became fiercely viral on social media and fans showered love on it. Known for his performances in films like Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Seemaraja and Desingu Raja, Suri is a well-known name in the entertainment industry today.
