Actually Annamalai has worked in various positions in Karnataka for the last 9 years. At the same time, he resigned from the police service in May last year. He was the Deputy Commissioner of Police of Bangalore (South) at the time when he resigned. Former IPS officer Annamalai is born in Karur, Tamil Nadu. During this, Rao welcomed him to the party and said that he belongs to the farming family. His background has been very good.
