Former Rajasthan Royals coach Paddy Upton says that if the IPL is not organized this year, many cricketers can get depressed. He said this to 'The Times of India'. In a special conversation on the mental health of the players and their treatment during the current phase of lockdown, Paddy Upton said that if the 13th season of IPL is not held due to Corona epidemic in the country, then many talented cricketers of the country will suffer from anxiety and depression.

He also said in the conversation that due to such a long break at the global level, not only the players but the people around the world will increase tension, anxiety and insecurity. Everyone is facing these challenges. Upton, who was once part of the coaching staff of Team India, said, "Naturally IPL is a big event and cash cow for cricketers. In a situation like lockdown, when a healthy and normal person thinks more about himself, then these concerns are bound to increase in him and not just athletes.

He further said, 'I would advise everyone that not only the players but other people also do not overthink this common danger these days and they should focus their attention on other people, worry about them and also consider other opportunities at this time, Which can be focused in this difficult time. Please tell that according to the scheduled time, the 13th season of IPL was to begin from March 29. Due to Corona virus, it was postponed to 15 April. However, from April 15, the IPL 2020 will begin. There is still a doubt on this.
